| Frequently asked questions about membership Why can't I log in? Will my contact information be visible to everyone? I have moved/I have a new job, etc. and now my profile is no longer up to date. I have a picture for my profile but it is too small/too large I know someone who also wants to join. What should he/she do? What will happen when I join the Curtius Alumni Community? Why can't I log in? Possibly solutions: 1. Did you spell the login and password you received correctly? 2. Did you change your password in a previous session? 3. The asterisk (*) after your ID is not part of your ID. 4. Close Internet Explorer or Firefox, reopen it, go to the website and try again. 5. Click the "renew" or F5 button and try again. 6. Remove your temporary internet files (Internet Explorer > Extra > Internet options > Temporary internet files > delete). This may take up to 60 seconds. Once this is completed, click the `preferences' button in the same screen, beside the delete button. For the question "When do you wish to check for new pages?" please select the option "with every visit to a page". Try again. 7. Try using another computer. 8. Once you have registered, you will receive a user account (login name and password) by e-mail which will give you access to contact data of other Curtius alumni.
